WHAT IS PLAN MANAGEMENT?
Plan Management is a service funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in a participants plan. During the planning stage with NDIS, you may have been asked how you want to manage your NDIS funding. There are currently three options to funding management, Agency, Plan and Self. Agency managed is when the NDIS pays the bills for the services you access. This means that you can only see an NDIS registered provider; Self Managed is where NDIS participants manage their funding and Plan Managed is when a plan manager pays all your invoices for you.
Plan management is like having a bookkeeper on your team to take out the stress of paying the bills! PLUS, it allows you a little more flexibility to engage with registered and non-registered providers.
